Starting project Memento 24/1/22

Today we have started a new project called Memento, so i thought i'd make a mind/bubble map about what i think a memento is to me, before i look up the definition.

The things i associate mementos with is objects and photographs that remind people of a place/person when they look at them. Mementos to me are a way of remembering people who you might not see anymore/places you may have visited in the past. Mementos are a way to keep memories alive in your head.

I then looked it up and a memento is defined as: an object or item that serves to remind one of a person, past event, etc.; keepsake; souvenir. anything serving as a reminder or warning.

To start this project i am going to do some research into memories shown in film, and watch a few to see how different directors use techniques to create different effects.
