Aura photography is created using specialist cameras and equipment, but using photoshop i decided to try and recreate the same effects of aura photography, by incorporating my knowledge of colour psychology and trying to match certain colours to the personalities ("auras") of the models i photographed.
I chose yellow, orange and blue colours as well as hints of white for Josh. He is quite an energetic and enthusiastic, positive person so i chose orange/yellow to link to energy and warmth. I also chose blue to express his calmer side as well. Overall all of these colours i think represent his "aura" the best.
I chose purple, blue and pink for Marlow. Purple is a colour that represents loyalty and represents a non-judgmental person, and blue shows trust and support. Pink is a positive colour, which shows joyfulness and creativeness. Marlow is a friendly person who comes across as a loyal, positive person who also creates a calming effect on those around him. I think these colours represent Marlow's "aura".
