I have gathered inspiration from other horror movie film posters when i was looking for inspiration for my own, but none of them particularly caught my eye. So i decided to look up the movie posters for films that i know include mirrors as part of their main storyline, and that's when i found these movie posters:
I am particularly inspired by the 'Mirrors' movie poster, and the way they have reflected the image, to emphasise the name of the film.
I also looked up different movie posters that mainly feature the colour red, as i think i want to include that somewhere in my poster, because red is a bold colour that will draw attention to my poster.
I also want to take inspiration from the film i found at the start of this project, 'The Night', as it is a film that uses direct references the painting i also was inspired by for my own film.
Using inspiration from some of the movie posters i've seen, i think i now have a clear idea on what i want my movie poster to look like, and i will work on creating the effect i want today.
