This weekend I had been planning out questions for the interviews I will be putting into my magazine. I decided to ask every person I interviewed the same 8 questions (below):
What is identity to you
What 5 words would you use to describe yourself?
What's words would your family use to describe yourself? (this can be the same or a different answer to no.2)
Do you feel like you can express yourself fully?
If yes to the above question, how do you express yourself? (Through makeup, fashion, on social media, music, etc.). If no, is there a certain thing stopping you from expressing yourself in a way you would like to?
What makes you happy?
How do you feel about yourself?
Whats your biggest dream?
The reason I decided to use the same 8 questions and not ask different questions to each person is because I am interested to see how different people answered each question, and how age, and different situations can affect the way people want to express themselves.
I am lucky that I have a somewhat big platform on social media, so I managed to find people of all ages, genders, and ethnicities, who came from all around the world, that were willing to answer my questions.
I will be putting all of their answers in my magazine, alongside the photos I have taken of my classmates, and friends, to accompany them, in order to tell different peoples stories as the reader flicks through my magazine.
