Magazine Design Inspiration

After todays workshop on InDesign, I looked up many images of magazine designs to help inspire me on how I would like my own magazine/booklet to look like.

After looking at many images I decided I wanted to bring colour into my designs that match with my images. For example, picking colours from my images and using them in my text/patterns on the page. I also wanted to experiment with different sizing and positions of my photos, and to make every page look different and interesting to look at.

Plastique magazine also inspired me with their style of big blocky text they use to fill up pages/add a unique twist to their designs. I wanted to incorporate both ideas into my booklet.
