GIF stands for Graphics Interchange Format and is a bitmap image format. They can be used to create animated images, and has a maximum of 256 colours.
To create an animated gif of the images i took, i imported all my images into photoshop, by going to File>Scripts>Load Files into Stack
I then created a timeline and added frames to play after one another, turning on the layers of the images i wanted to show. The final animation shows the process of my mind map being created.
I originally imported all of the images i took (which was over 200), but the exporting took a long time and the images were too big of a size to be able to export it. So the final work i created only used around 50 of the image i took.
