So far i have only selected two choices on my UCAS account, but i will add more as time goes on. The two i have selected is Film & German at the University of Bristol, and Film at the University of Brighton. Bristol is definitely my first choice at the moment in terms of Universities, but i haven't visited either of them in person yet. Because they are quite far away i need to find some spare time to visit them, but i will be applying to both of them even if i haven't visited them, as i can always turn down the offer if i get accepted.
I'm currently stuck with choosing what to do for my next steps, as i am torn between UCA/Maidstone Studios, and actually having an away University experience which is what i was looking forward to.
I think if i was to choose Maidstone Studios, i would be able to get really good work-type experience, as i would be working in studios with legit tv shows. I would also gain really good connections in order to get straight into the field of work i want to.
However, there is also the thought in the back of my mind that i want to go to University, and if i was to go to Maidstone Studios, i would miss out on 3 years of socialising and meeting people my age, and doing general University stuff. And if i was to go to Bristol, i'd also be learning German, which is something i really want to do, and i would be able to take a year out to actually study in Germany, which appeals to me so much.
I still need some time to think about what i want to do, but i will be applying for all of the places i am considering, so i have a bit more time to consider my future.
