Mood Board

I have started collecting images which match the ideas i have for this project, and have put them all together in a board on my Pinterest called 'Altered States': https://www.pinterest.co.uk/lucy_uca/
I also have written down random ideas that come to mind. One of them includes the idea of dreams/reality, and wondering where the boundaries/separation between the two of them start and ends. I think Tim Burton is a really good example of the idea that dreams can be mixed with reality in a way, for example Alice in Wonderland, and Edward Scissorhands. His animations also include characters and settings that are unique and different, which creates a familiar feeling in his films, but also with an alienated gothic mood.
I will do more research into certain film directors and creative individuals which encapsulate the idea of altered states best in their work.
